Important Carpool Change - Mornings Only
The Garden Hills community has been extremely accommodating of the construction that has taken place at AIS throughout the summer, and I would like to show our consideration by minimizing the impact of carpool traffic on the neighborhood. I therefore request that you no longer turn left onto North Fulton Drive when you exit the carpool line in the morning. Instead, please turn right onto North Fulton Drive, or continue straight along Delmont Drive. Avoiding left turns during the morning onto North Fulton Drive will significantly reduce congestion, go a long way in maintaining friendly relations with the Garden Hills community and, most importantly, improve traffic safety during carpool.
Afternoon kindergarten and cafeteria carpools are free to turn left onto North Fulton Drive. In the afternoon, Grade 1-5 carpool must continue along North Fulton around the SAC and onto Peachtree Road. Under no circumstances should vehicles turn around in Garden Hills Elementary School's parking lot to come back up North Fulton Drive.
